Camp Kitaki offers a wide range of options for your group members to enjoy to break up the all day meeting or occupy down time. Our retreat coordinator will work with you to plan activities that fit your schedule and your budget.

High Ropes Course and Tango Tower

If you are looking for high adventure, individual challenge, and unique group development opportuntities, Camp Kitaki's High Ropes Course is your answer. Challenge yourself on the Heebie Jeebies, the Push Pull, the Wild Woozey. Work with your partner to scale the Dangle Duo.  $20/person/3 hours

 Teambuilding

The activities on the low ropes course help promote group cohesion, communication, and the recognition of the role all participants play in the success of the group as a whole. $20/person/3 hours

Archery

Our target range offers you an opportunity for your group to learn a skill they may not have an opportunity to be exposed to. The first time they hit the target, your participant's confidence will soar! $50/group of 20/2 hours

Horseback Riding

Riders are matched with a horse based on their previous or lack of riding ability and are led through camp's pristine trails by trained wranglers. Proper attire of long pants and closed toe, closed heel shoes are required. $200/group of 12/hour

Lake Activities

Paddleboats, canoes, fishing, beach volleyball, and sand castle building are available on our private lake. Hold canoe races, play canoe tag, teach catch and release fishing techniques or relax on a paddleboat. Lifeguards are provided for boating activities. $115/group of 40/hour

Nature Hikes

We have over 200 beautiful acres for you to enjoy and explore. We’ll provide maps and animal track keys to help make your hike a memorable one.

Basketball

After sitting a meeting all day, participants will love the chance to shoot a few hoops on our outdoor court.

Ga Ga

A fun, non-violent  variation on dodgeball. Always a group favorite!

Human Foosball

A life-sized version of the traditional table game where your participants are the players!

Fort Pawnee Natural Play Area and Rotary Music Playground

Both young and old will love to explore, build, creat music, and socialize in our beautiful natuarl play area.

Capture the Flag

This run around game is a camp classic!

Scavenger Hunt

Explore the camp grounds and compete to see who has the sharpest eye. We’ll even provide the lists!

Evening Activities
Evening Activities

If your group is staying overnight, you may want to consider an evening program for your participants. Here are just a few of the evening activities available.

Campfire

We’ll start the fire and help with the songs, but your students may want to take center stage! (S’mores optional)

Astronomy

Local experts will highlight some of the most impressive sights in the night sky.

Disco Fever

Your camp hosts double as DJs, teaching dances to camp appropriate tunes.

Boundary Breakers (5th+)

This question and answer style group development game allows students to create deeper connections with their peers.

Forced Choices (6th+)

Our facilitators will help your students discuss race, class, ability, and other factors that influence their lives in a safe setting.
