Camp Kitaki's Rustic Adventure Camps are for kids who want to experience the outdoors up close. Camps in this category are focused more on the experience of tent camping, outdoor cooking, and outdoor skills such as canoeing, knot tying, and backpacking.
Ranger Camp
Ages 11-13
Ranger Camp is an introductory camp to outdoor skills. Campers stay in more rustic lodging, and cook the majority of their meals on a campfire or camp stove. They even do a canoe trip with overnight tent campout!
Niobrara Canoe Camp
Ages 13-17
After a few days at Kitaki to prepare and learn, Niobrara camp features a three night and two day canoe trip excursion to the Niobrara river in western Nebraska.
