This was our daughter's first year and first time away from home by herself for that long. I was worried she'd be homesick and want to come home. Well, it was the complete opposite — she absolutely loved it there and made a bunch of friends. She was sad to leave. Our daughter went to Ranch Camp for the week, where all the kids got to take care of their own horse. She fell in love with Geoffrey and can't wait to see him and all her new friends next summer.

FOR PARENTS

New to camp? You're in good company.

Most campers arrive without knowing a single person. That is not a problem. It is kind of the point. Everything at Camp Kitaki is designed to help Campers make friends, try something new, and come home a little more themselves.

If you have questions about homesickness, medications, what they will eat, or what a typical day looks like, we have answered them all.

CAMP FOR ALL

YMCA Camp Kitaki welcomes campers of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. Participation is open to all. Financial assistance is available for families who need it.
