Max started on summer staff in 2012 and continued on summer staff till 2017 in which he was the Assistant program director. In the off seasons Max worked for The Home Depot as a Department supervisor. He has also spent time working for landscape and fencing businesses as well as working at his father's remodeling business in Lincoln. He became the Camp Property director in the spring of 2020.

Max lives out at camp currently with his partner Hannah. Hannah is currently a student at Creighton university getting her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. They are currently on the search for a canine companion to share their time with.

Ever since Max's first summer at Kitaki it has held a special place in his heart. He loves seeing kids experience the magic that camp has to offer and he knew that he wanted to help keep that magic alive. Whether it's hanging out with the campers playing games and talking or behind the scene making sure camp is running smoothly he knew this is where he wanted to be.
